Several civil cases have been filed by victims of Jeffrey Epstein, including Jane Does v. Epstein (2008), where two women, known as Jane Doe No. 2, filed $50-million civil lawsuits against Epstein EFTA00263107. Additionally, Brad Edwards filed civil suits against Epstein on behalf of his clients, including Jane Doe, E.W., and L.M., in 2008 EFTA00081180, EFTA00188608, EFTA00597791, and EFTA00597822. There was also a federal civil suit filed in 2014 by Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2 against the United States for violations of the Crime Victims’ Rights Act EFTA00263797, EFTA00265175, and EFTA00268169. Many of these lawsuits have been settled out of court by Epstein.
